A new level of intensity is brought into theatres as Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson star in the fourth movie of the Twilight Saga. In Breaking Dawn Pt. 1, directed by Bill Condon, the Twilight Phenomenon vampire/human/werewolf love story continues as Stewart and Pattinson solidify their compassionate relationship when they are forced to face chaotic events that unravel in the newlywed stage of their marriage.
Stewart and Pattinson take on the role of two lovers who face hardships as they leave the comfort of what is familiar to a thrilling journey. Bella, played by Stewart, is forced to say goodbye to the life she knows when the impossible comes true while on their honeymoon: she becomes pregnant. Their desperate search to find answers becomes vital when she is told that the only way she can survive is if the baby dies and vice versa. Bella’s moral character is revealed when she decides to risk her life in order to save the baby. During her pregnancy, the vampire fetus is incompatible with her human body, destroying her from the inside out. The news of the pregnancy spreads to the werewolf pack, who then vows to kill the fetus before it becomes a threat to humankind. Eventually, Bella gives birth to her daughter, Renesmee, but not without severe consequences to her health.
Bill Condon has been the director of numerous hit films such as “Dreamgirls,” “Kinsey,” and “Gods and Monsters,” all of which have done incredibly well in the box office. The release of the fourth movie in the Twilight series was highly anticipated because of the change in directors and the reunion of the cast from the first three movies. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Launter compose the leading rolls in Breaking Dawn and are very well known for it. Stewart’s acting lived up to its potential with the emotion in the dialouge.
Breaking Dawn succeeded in bringing a wide range of emotions to its viewers. It is an exciting film, filled with action and romance that is sure to keep the audience on the edge of their seat. Fans of the book and movies will undoubtedly adore watching the film.
In the final scene of Breaking Dawn Pt. 1, the excitement is brought on because of the cliffhanger ending that provokes the viewers to see Pt. 2 when it premieres in theaters on Nov. 16, 2012
