Grammy performances and winners recap

At the 58th Grammy Awards Monday night there were many anticipated performances and winners to come. With a couple performances paying tribute to influential people.

Lady Gaga had a performance which paid tribute to David Bowie.

Lady Gaga had many costume changes and special effects during her performance.

She worked with Intel to create those special effects.

John legend, Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor, Tyrese, and Luke Bryan joining together to pay tribute to Lionel Richie which he later then joined them to close out the performance.

Sam hunt  who was nominated for best new artist, all genre, and best country album joined Carrie Underwood to sing a collaboration of their songs Take your time and Heartbeat.

The highly anticipated performance from Adele came out and performed one of her songs from her hit album 25 but seemed to have some mic problems during her performance.

Taylor Swift opened up the Grammys with singing Out of the Woods in blue glittery outfit and her new bob haircut.

Taylor Swift ended up winning album of the year “1989”, best pop vocal album “1989”, and best music video for her song Bad Blood and gave an inspirational speech about not letting people stop you and tear you down.

Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars won record of the year for the hit song Uptown Funk that was very well know for the dancing in the music video and also won for best pop duo/ group performance.

Ed Sheeran won song of the year for thinking out loud  beating out Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar. Little Big Town won best country song for Girl Crush.
