Hillary is the only option for America
November 9, 2016
The election is coming up and many are worried about a homophobic, racist, bigot, sexist, greedy candidate potentially winning even though there is a better, more experienced and logical choice for a candidate.
Since 1964, Hillary Clinton has been involved with politics as she joined young Republican groups and campaigned for a Republican nominee known as Barry Goldwater in Chicago, Illinois.
As she grew up, her political views started to change. Clinton is passionate about politics and has loved them since a young age.
Donald Trump, on the other hand, has experience in business, but no political background or experience. A country is not a company and should not be run like one. If a president fails, he can not simply declare bankruptcy as Trump has done six times. Clinton was the Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013. During those years, Donald Trump was entertaining the American public by starring in his show “The Apprentice.”
According to an article in The New York Times, while being on The Apprentice, insiders on the show admit that Trump rated the female contestants by the size of their breasts and boasted about what ones he wished to have sex with.
Trump’s campaign has shown similar examples of lewd and demeaning behavior toward women and minorities. While his campaign manages to entertain American audiences. His policies lack substance and independent fact checkers have consistently shown him to stretch the truth or lie more than Hilary Clinton, according to politifact.com, an independent fact checking web site.
At one of the debates, Clinton called out Trump’s views on global warming due to the fact they are so incorrect it is funny. Hillary said ,”Donald Trump says climate change is a hoax invented by the Chinese” which Donald replied with one word, that word being “wrong.”
However Trump did Tweet on Nov. 6 2012 that “The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.” These type of lies and hoaxes are consistent with Trump’s character. Do we really want someone leading our country who doesn’t believe in basic studies of science or facts.
Do we really want someone who degrades women on their weight? A man who has had 11 women come forward claiming sexual assault?
Keep all of this in mind when deciding on who would make the best president. Clinton has flaws, but she has spent her life devoted to the public, not her own selfish needs. The choice is obvious.
