The boys Milford Mavericks varsity football team played a tough last game against their rival, Lakeland High School. The Mavs kicked it off with a good start and were up 3-0, then Lakeland got a touchdown and took the lead with a score of 7-3. That didn’t fly too well with our players, so they came back and picked up the lead with a touchdown with a pass from Zach Jones to Logan Kahl. Sadly, Lakeland came back and the Mavs fell to the Lakeland Eagles, 21-10. The season ends with a 1-8 record.
