Is Hush for you?

It’s October, which means it’s time for both haunted houses, and apple orchards.  Being the type of people who love a good scare, my friends and I decided to go to“Hush,” a haunted house in Westland, Mich. Hush was $20 for a 30-minute wait, but you can skip the line and go in for $30. Going through a Hush was about 30 minutes long.

Waiting in line, there were a couple of people who were dressed up to scare us. I suggest if you are easily scared you should skip the line for an extra $10. Throughout the haunted house, you enter different rooms with different themes. The beginning was much scarier than the end. As you    went through, you were wondering when it was going to end.

During the beginning, you walk in, there’s a big jump scare, and then a man who greets you. He takes you into the beginning of the haunted house and as you go through you are guided by many people. Hush had many jump scares, but I feel as though a lot of them were predictable.

Overall, I would give Hush a 7/10. It was scary to some extent, but some things wereyou saw coming. The price of $20 to enter seemed a little high for how little of a scare you recieve at the haunted house. Living in Milford, don’t forget to add the price of gas, for there and back as it is a good 30-minute drive out to Westland.

If you plan on going to Hush, I suggest you go to the website. On the website you can get the tickets for $18 instead of $10 at the entrance. The website has a section dedicated to the theme that says, “For the 2018 Halloween season HUSH has been overhauled like never before. Over 75% of HUSH is BRAND NEW, and we’re longer than ever. Travel within city streets and businesses overrun with horrors. Venture into the long forgotten town cemetery and greet the spirits that linger in the past. Journey into the catacombs, finding your path through to the underground HUSH facility – ground zero for the terror that’s been unleashed.
