The Highland and Milford Community needs love and support throughout the years. Nancy Bransetter has created an outstanding club for Highland and other areas to spread acts of kindess and bring the town together. Bransetter, A resident of Highland, has been very involved in the community and has recently started the “Highland Kindness Campaign.” This association allows people to share acts of kindness on social media and throughout the community. When people share their generosity, they can use #Highlandkindess, and it will spread around the town. Bransetter was inspired by Jim Tuman, who ran a kindness campaign in Gilbert, Arizona. Tuman’s association was very successful. Bransetter spoke to Tuman about creating her own campaign for Highland, and she started to make it a reality. She has also communicated with other various organizations about this opportunity, and they were all willing to jump in and help. She has talked to various restaurants and stores around the Highland and Milford Area. “I go to talk to people about our campaign, and by the time I leave, I’m getting hugs!” she explained. Bransetter is thrilled to get more people involved to make this movement spread around Highland and other towns. If you submit a story, video, photo, or even a nice quote using the hashtag, it could be posted on the Highland Kindness Campaign social media page. “We know that there are acts of kindness around Highland, but we want others to see that and feel good,” Bransetter said. Bransetter’s ambition is to give aid to the Highland community and to share it with Milford High School. With the help of teachers and students, this campaign can flourish to its full potential.
